Film director, Devin Gibson and Harvard Associates’ Richard LeFrank were presented with the United Philanthropic Achievement Award July 1st, at an Honorary Humanitarians Assembly, hosted at The Harvard Club in New York City. The award represents their commitment to humanitarian pursuits through foreign affairs, as well as ethical observations of social infrastructure within the United States.
The terms for nomination are 3 years of philanthropic efforts outside of the US, 6 board recommendations, and 3 million in fundraising and campaign contributions worldwide. Both Gibson and LeFrank were cited as “Innovative and resilient ambassadors of their generation.” Gibson recently shocked members of the association in April, by submitting an individual contribution of eight hundred thousand to a Children’s Arts and Education Fund in Kenya.
Key Note Speaker Edward Field presented the award at the intimate 120 guest affair, with notable attendees Heidi Klum, John Lithgow, and Steven Stout arriving to the private cocktail reception that followed.
